Information clause regarding the processing of personal data

In accordance with Article 13 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), the University of Applied Sciences in Tarnow informs you that:

3. Your personal data provided in the form (name and surname, academic title or degree, affiliation, email address, telephone number) will be processed for the following purposes:
a) registering Conference participants, communicating with participants for organizational purposes, compiling participant lists, preparing certificates, and documenting the conference - Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e (performance of a task carried out in the public interest - scientific and teaching activities)
b) processing payments and financial settlements - Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f (subject to the provisions of the GDPR). c GDPR
c) securing and pursuing potential claims related to participation in the conference or to protect against such claims - Art. 6.1.f GDPR
d) recording the conference in the form of photographs and recordings and publishing them for informational and promotional purposes - Art. 6.1.a GDPR

4. Your personal data will not be transferred to other recipients unrelated to the registration process and the organization of the Conference, except for entities authorized to receive them under applicable law.
5. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the conference, as well as for the period the controller stores financial and accounting documentation related to its organization. In situations provided for by law, personal data may also be processed for the period necessary to establish and pursue potential claims. In the case of data processing based on consent, until the consent to data processing is withdrawn.
6. Your personal data will not be transferred to a third country or international organization.
7. In connection with the processing of your personal data by the Controller, you have the right (subject to limitations arising from legal provisions): to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, and to restrict its processing; to transfer your data; and to object to its processing. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
9. Your data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling.
10. Providing your data is voluntary, although refusal to provide it will result in your inability to register for the Conference.
We also inform you that to document the event, photographs and recordings will be taken and published on the University of Applied Sciences in Tarnow website. By participating in the conference, participants consent to the processing of their image in group photographs and recordings.
